Hi!

I am looking for an extension that allows me to do the following:

1. Show or hide a module depending on whether another module is showing or not.
2. Show or hide a module depending on whether an article of a certain category is being displayed.

I've seen Advanced Module Manager and Conditional Content extensions. It's possible to do this two points with any of these two extensions?

Thanks!

You can do this with Advanced Module Manager.

Thanks Peter!

I've been trying Advanced Module Manager Free Version, but I cannot get my point 1:

1. Show or hide a module depending on whether another module is showing or not.

I tried with "Same as other module" and "Opposite" value, but my complete condition should be: Show or hide a module only in certains pages (menu items), and only if another module is present, but not in all pages where the selected module will not show up.

It's possible?

Thanks!

The "Same as other module" option cannot be combined with extra assignments.
You can achieve what you need with an extra in-between step with the help of Modules Anywhere.

Please consider buying one of the extensions or a Support subscriptions. As I do not offer support on the free versions beyond pre-sale questions (and bug reports).

Many thanks Peter,

Do I need to buy the Pro version of both components? Or just one of them?

Only one will do. I advise Advanced Module Manager, as you will get a lot more assignment possibilities with it too!
