Regular Labs can no longer access "download.regularlabs.com​" for software updates.

Do you have any firewall extensions installed? Like RS Firewall or AdminTools. Try disabling them.

If that doesn't help, ask SG to provide a traceroute from your server to mine.

My host says that these IP addresses are in a range of Amazon server IPs that cause major issues with other servers/host (read: ddosers, spammers, scammers, etc).
So that entire range is blocked by my host.

There is currently no block for your IPs on my host's side anymore.
So if it still won't connect, then there must be something else in the mix outside my control...

Thank you for the update. Checked again but still not working. However, let's wait and see if in a couple of hours after the changes made on your end have fully propagated across the Internet worldwide, if this connection issue straightens out.

I will let you know later today if "Regular Labs - Extension Manager" is able to once again successfully connect to "download.regularlabs.com" and "regularlabs.com".

Thank you for checking back in with me.

Unfortunately, "Regular Labs - Extension Manager" still can't make a connection with your server. Frustrating because our hosting provider is saying it's your server that's the problem. And your hosting provider is saying it's SiteGround's server that's the problem.

I'm not sure what to do next. I still have a support ticket open with both you and SiteGround. There's obviously blocking still occurring from either your end or SiteGround's end. Got any ideas as to how to debug this issue?

Peter,

I noticed that I never mentioned in this ticket what version of Joomla is being used. The Joomla version is 3.10.11 with RSFirewall 3.0.12 installed. The PHP version is 7.4 running on an Apache Linux based server.

My host replied with:
Could you please request that they provide the full traceroutes from the relevant Google web servers to the IPv4 [[b]185.220.175.129[/b]] and IPv6 [[b]2a06:2ec0:ded1:1:0:48:671:1[/b]] (from vps0216.zxcs.nl) separately per web server and relevant IP addresses?
And then send them as plain text?

Well, the traceroutes show that there are no blocks getting in the way, and my server (Vimexx) is reachable.
So not sure what to do here, as there don't seem to be any issues on my side.
Your host could already see that the traceroutes were successful, so I don't understand why they keep saying they can't connect.

The response from my host is pretty much the same:
The checks are good

This shows that there are no blocks within the network because vps0216 is reachable.

I just received a reply from SiteGround 2nd tier support via my ongoing support ticket. See their response below along with their request for two specific IP addresses to be unblocked by your web hosting provider. I suggest you forward their entire response to your web host via your open support ticket with them.
