Hi Peter

Please can you check this out? My main key, created years ago didn't work.

So I created a new one - and yes it has updated the Extension, but still get the error message - like this:

Error updating plugin.
Regular Labs Library (Library) has been successfully updated to v17.7.4019
Sliders (Editor Button Plugin) has been successfully updated to v7.2.5PRO
Sliders (System Plugin) has been successfully updated to v7.2.5PRO
Updating plugin was successful.
Tabs (Editor Button Plugin) has been successfully updated to v7.1.4PRO
Tabs (System Plugin) has been successfully updated to v7.1.4PRO
Error
To be able to update the Pro version of this extension via the Joomla updater, you will need enter your Download Key in the settings of the Regular Labs Extension Manager.

So just a bit weird - I am about to update the site to 3.7.3, so this may fix it all.

It could be a left over error still in the message queue from the previous update-try.

Do you get the message again if you - for example - re-install Tabs v7.1.3PRO and try updating again?
I guess you get these messages when using the Joomla core updater.

Old versions can be downloaded from the Changelog:

But, should my lifetime "key" every expire?

No, the lifetime key should not expire.
However, a few years ago, when my company name changed from NoNumber to Regular Labs and I launched a complete new website, the Download Keys were 'reset'.
This was mentioned in the email you should have gotten back then.
