Issue using Accordions in a module with JCH

Amar Guillen's Avatar Amar Guillen
Hello,

I am facing a very strange issue on my website.

I am using JCH to optimize the speed of the my website.

When JCH is enabled, and when I call Accordions in a module that is available only on certain pages, it is not working. The text is correctly display but there is no + to expand the content of Accordions.

Here is a page example: gpfa99.guillenphoto.com/en/fine-art-prin...ts-guillenphoto.html
The text "Display the Themes of the Fine Art Prints" is displayed but the sign to expand the accordion.

It works fine when I use the extension on regular articles.

Please would you tell what I am missing? Is there something I should do with JCH?

Thanks for your help,

Sincerely,
A. Guillen

You have javascript issues on your site. Something about jsSocials.

Check your browser's console to get more info about any javascript errors.

Hi Peter,

I disabled the plugin you mentionned.

I am still having the problem.

Would you have a look?

Thanks

Looks like JCH is causing the issues.
You could try a different optimization method in JCH. Or exclude the Tabs & Accordions scripts and styles from JCH.
For more help on JCH, you should ask them.

Hi Peter,

Before asking to the developer of JCH, please would you tell me what Accordions works fine on regular articles like this page:
gpfa99.guillenphoto.com/en/the-blog-of-t...ng-and-creative.html

Why it does not work well when it is used in a module affected on certain pages? The module is not called by a loadposition but loaded when the page is.

What is the difference?

Sincerely,
A. Guillen

Is this in a module with type Custom?
If so, enable Prepare Content in that module.

For sure.

But the main question is still there.

Why the extension works with a module called by an article and why it is not working when the module is displayed only on certain pages.

I do not see the distinction.
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
Why does it work in both scenario's when not using JCH...
So issue is with whatever JCH is doing. I can't help you.

Hi Peter,

I wanted to keep you update for my issue with JCH.

Today, Samuel, the developer of JCH delivered me a new release of his plugin. Now it works well.

You were right. It was a problem related to JCH.

Not easy to understand for me, but the problem is solved.

Thanks for all,
Sincerely,
A. Guillen
