Replacing Joomla Menu URL Link

Michael Alicea's Avatar Michael Alicea
Hello,

I need assistance on replacing a Joomla menu item type set as URL. I would like to be able to have Link change based on ReReplacer item logic.

I tried setting the Link in ReReplacer and set it to replace Everywhere but it does not affect the menu item.

Thank you.

What exactly do you have in the search and replace fields?

Hello,

In Joomla Menu:
Type: System, URL
Link:
https://replace-link.internal

In ReReplacer:
In the search I entered:
https://replace-link.internal
In the replace field I entered an actual URL:
https://domainname.com

The replacement does not occur pointing the user to:
https://replace-link.internal

It can be that the url is not actually
https://replace-link.internal
at the moment ReReplacer sees the html. But hard to tell from just this info.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.

I am not sure how your website works and how the content is generated/built up.
But the moment ReReplacer gets to see the html, the whole header section is not there yet.
I guess this is a nicepage thing.
If so, then ReReplacer (and pretty much any other plugin) is unable to affect any html in that area.

Thank you for taking the time to look. With that information I found the settings in Nicepage that are affecting it. In testing, I got it to work.
