Frontend error and general malfunction - Support Forum

I have installed the current version of the “Articles Anywhere” plugin and now I get the following error message when using it in the frontend editor

Undefined constant "Astroid\ASTROID_MEDIA_TEMPLATE_PATH"
The plugin cannot be used in the backend either.

Clicking "Insert" does not insert anything.

I've also uninstalled and reinstalled it.
The installation routine reports no errors

Entering the AE tags manually works.

Does anybody have any idea?

This issue is caused by your template.

What errors do you get in the administrator side? DO you have any javascript errors? (check the browser console)

No, I don't get any errors.
The problem only occurs when you try to edit the linked article from a menu item.

...and now that the problem with the Astroid template has been fixed, no "Insert" button appears in the front editor.

Are you able to reproduce the issue with the default Joomla template?
Also, what editor are you using?
