I need to conditionally show user maps based on geoid location, Does modules anywhere pro and geoip work with Yootheme?

You would need Advanced Module Manager Pro, not Modules Anywhere Pro.
Whether or not your template plays nice with Advanced Module Manager... you'll have to try it out.
If any of the assignments other than the menu item assignment works in the Free version, then you should be able to use the Geo location assignments in AMM Pro too.
