Advanced Module Manager v10.0.13: db_Array

C Southgate's Avatar C Southgate
I am having ongoing problems with Advanced Module Manager now with v10.0.13. I updated to v10.0.13 twice yesterday
(1) On a subdomain where I previously had the development release from Sunday morning.
(2) On my main site where I previously had v10.0.12

Problem 1: db_Array table
It would not install properly and it broke the subdomain site. There was a message about being unable to find a db_Array table (this table does not exist - I have Joomla 5). Eventually, i just restored a backup and left it there for a while.

Problem 2:Regular Labs - Conditions
v10.0.13 seemed to install ok and I've been doing some work with modules today. At first there were no problems, but now the conditions tab has disappeared from one of the modules, replaced with the old "Menu Assignment" tab.

Are these known bugs?

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

The ftp account just gives me access to an empty folder.

When I install the Advanced Module Manager zip again, there is no error.
Was this the fist install of AMM after a Joomla 3 to Joomla 5 upgrade?

And regarding that "Problem 2", on which do you not have the conditions tab?

But checking it again this morning, I can use the conditions now and it is working.
FWIW I have encountered a similar problem before on other sites and with other modules, but they were all around the time of the upgrade from Joomla 3. This is the first time I have seen it in a long time,
However, you obviously cannot fix what is no longer there to be fixed.

I can also not reproduce the initial db_Array error, as when installing the latest Advanced Module Manager zip (dev or stable), the error does not appear.
Also there is no mention of the error in the log files, as far as I can tell.

Are you able to roll back the site to the situation (files and database) before the update that threw that error?

PS: The 'Temp folder' path on the digitaloffice site looks off...

I did roll back to the situation before that error appeared. I had to roll back because it broke the site.
Did you try to install the v10.0.13 update? If yes, then you should see the error.

please go ahead and try. I can roll back again if it breaks the site again

Like I said, I installed both the latest stable and dev version. Both not giving the error.

I cannot explain what happened, but it did happen. I am very grateful for your support though and I am sorry to have wasted your time.

Yes, I believe that it happened. Someone else reported the same thing:
regularlabs.com/forum/bugreports/51047-a...n-layout-in-joomla-5

But I have not been able to reproduce or track down where the issue is coming from.
So not sure how to fix it. I'll keep digging in the meantime...
