Cache cant be cleaned

Hello 🙂
For about 2 months now, when I try to clean the cache, it errors and says "Cache cant be cleaned" in red in the banner above. I looked and the cache cleaner is up to date. I thought possibly a file permissions, but seems that both admin/cache and cache are both set to 755.
Do you have any thoughts?

Please enable error reporting in the Joomla global settings.

What version of mysql are you running on?

Database Version 5.7.41
It did work, but then randomly stopped.

I have no idea. Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
You can use the 'Confidential information' button in the forum editor to hide sensitive information.
