Strange Behaviour - Module showed up on wrong page

Jacob Hodara's Avatar Jacob Hodara
We have a module that is assigned to a specific menu, randomly appeared on the home page, had to clear cache (Joomla, then CloudFlare) to fix the issue.

I added a secondary assignment rule, based on "URL"

Have you ever come across this type of bug before?

No, based on the information, it shouldn't show on the homepage.

If you disable caching completely, does it keep showing on the homepage?

The issues on these sites are all random. I'm not sure how a partial cache from another page can show on a secondary page.

If the issue is random, then I am not sure how Advanced Module Manager can cause that.
But did you try with caching off?

We did but issue is so random.

I updated all Regular Labs plugisn as well to be sure its not software.

Were you able to solve it with the URL condition? Or use the Homepage condition (negative).
