J4 - Module not showing on second level child menu item

Tim Ryan's Avatar Tim Ryan
I'm trying to display a module on all child menu items of one parent item.

If I select the top level parent item, the module only displays on the first level of children. I have to manually tick the first level children menu items as well in order to get the module to display on their children.

I would expect the module to automatically show on all levels of children by selecting just the top level parent item like it does in the J3 version.

Have you checked the "Also on child items" option under the selection?

Yes, I have. It does not work whether I choose 'yes' or 'only'

This is working fine for me.
Do you have actual child menu items set up?

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue and which module this concerns...

Yes, I have a parent > child > grandchild menu structure set up. The module does not show on the grandchild menu item if just the parent is ticked. I have to manually tick each child to show it on the grandchild also.
