Category Blog Page Types Condition does apply on Category Blog Overrides

Olivier Frascone's Avatar Olivier Frascone
Hi

I made an override for the Category Blog and it is working fine.
My issue is that when I go to Advanced Module Manager, to assign a module to the itemID that shows my Page type (My Category blog Override) and also add the condition rule Page Types = "Category Blog" this condition DOES NOT apply to the "My Category Blog" page and I do not see the module.

I use the latest version of Joomla 4, AMM, and Helix-Ultimate template.

Can you please advise?
Thank you.

You can't actually make an override for just the Category Blog. It is for the main Category view, which has a blog and list layout.

When selecting the Page Type "Category Blog", it actually needs to check for both the view "category" and layout "blog".
Seeing you are using a different layout, assigning to that Page Type will not work.

You can select the "Category List" Page Type, which only checks for the view "category" (which will cover all layouts for "category".
