Hi Peter

I am struggling with the following.
I have Hika Shop installed, up and running.
I have a module which show as “Proceed to Cart” button and I can get this to show pretty much every where.
The thing is that I want to exclude it from the check out process pages.
i.e. there is no point in proceeding to the cart when you are already in the cart.

Add Product to cart here:
www.finalbug.net/store/product/23-fcpx-foundations

And from here on in I do not want to see the “Proceed to Cart” button on pages such as these:

finalbug.net/store/checkout/task-show/cid-2
finalbug.net/store/checkout/task-show/cid-3

In the advanced Module mamager

I can see the following options:

HikaShop default menus
HikaShop hidden menus

And I have set up my own menus

Store (Hika Shop Store Menu)

Sub menus (Hika Shop Sub Menus)
My Cart
Checkout
Orders [my-orders]
Market HQ [my-shop-hq]

I have not found the magic combination to get the "Proceed to Cart” button not show up during the Check Out phase.

Kindly advise how to proceed

thanks

Paul

Why not use the special HikaShop assignments available in Advanced Module Manager Pro?
So just assign to the page types you want.

Hi Peter

Why not use the special HikaShop assignments available in Advanced Module Manager Pro?

You are refering to this here right?

HikaShop default menus

Products listing [hikashop-menu-for-products-listing]
User control panel [hikashop-menu-for-user-control-panel]
Registration form [hikashop-menu-for-hikashop-registration]
Brands listing [hikashop-menu-for-brands-listing]

I do not see anything that obviously relates to a "checkout."

Please tell me what to switch on/off?

And here:

Store (Hika Shop Store Menu)

Sub menus (Hika Shop Sub Menus)
My Cart
Checkout
Orders [my-orders]
Market HQ [my-shop-hq]

All off?

Also on child items?
Include no Itemid?

thanks

Paul

No, you are currently using the Menu Assignments.
Scroll down to find specific HikaShop assignments.

Still confused sorry:

Page types deals with:
Options: User addresses, Categories listing, Featured Articles, Create Article, Contact page, Products listing, Product page, User control panel, Registration form

Categories deals with:
Select the categories to assign to.
Thinking aloud here if my product is in a category maybe this is the way to go eg EXLUDE for the product category?!!?!

Products deals with:
The products in my shop which are all in the same category any way.

So I am betting on "Categories "

And also "Also on child items" ON (back up towards the top of the Adv Mod Page?

Ahhh there are more Child Options in the Categories sections.

Wow the abyss just gets deeper and deeper :P

Ah, seems there are some incorrect language tags used in the HikaShop pagetype selection.
Please try the latest development version from:
www.regularlabs.com/development-releases

It should now look like:

PS: The 'Child Items' option you see under the different selections only refers to actual child items you see in the selection field.
So for menu items it refers to actual menu items nested under a selected parent menu item, etc.
