Can I use GeoIP & Sourcerer in an article to display geolocation specific affiliate ads?

Hi Peter,

I have a writers' website based on Joomla where I'm hoping to get some income from affiliate ads with Amazon and possibly an Australian online bookseller.

My thoughts are to display the Australian booksellers' ads to browsers from Australia and NZ (the areas to which they sell and deliver books) and Amazon's to the rest of the world.

At the moment I'm only displaying Amazon ads - here is an example: www.tallandtrue.com.au/biography-memoir/...ctive-on-vietnam-war

I use your wonderful Articles Anywhere extensively on the website and I wondered if GeoIP & Sourcerer would enable me to display (and not display) sections of code based on the GeoIP of the browse. For instance, something like this from this mock-up using the code for the Amazon link (to The Sorrow of War) from the article above:

<div class="affiliate-ads">
[If GeoIP=Australia or NZ]
<p>Display Australian bookseller's ad </p>
[Else]
<p><a href=" www.amazon.com/gp/product/1573225436/ref...4cd001ad201483cce3c6 " target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;ASIN=1573225436&amp;Format=_SL250_&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;MarketPlace=US&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=tallandtrue-20" alt="" border="0" /></a><img src=" ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=talland...o=1&amp;a=1573225436 " alt="" width="1" height="1" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" border="0" /><em><a href=" www.amazon.com/gp/product/1573225436/ref...4cd001ad201483cce3c6 " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Browse &amp; buy at Amazom.com</a></em></p>
</div>

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for all your work on the Joomla extensions over the years.

Regards,
Robertf

You can use Conditional Content for this. It is created specifically for this type of use.
You will need the Pro version for the Geo stuff.

Thanks, Peter. I'll buy a Pro version right now.

BTW, my username shows incorrectly as "Robert Fairlhead" (with an *l* between *Fair* and *head*) in my Profile, whereas it's correct in my Account Details as "Robert Fairhead".

I must have entered a typo when I created my NoNumbers/Regular Labs account. Is there any way you can correct this?

Regards,
Robertf
