Hello,

I've setup components anywhere to load Jomsocial frontpage inside a module.
It works on our dev enviroment, but it does not work on the production site.
It is exactly the same code

{component index.php?option=com_community&view=frontpage}
, on the same module and same page.
On the production site I get the message the <!-- Components Anywhere Message: O componente não pôde ser posicionado porque uma URL inválida foi fornecida ou expirou a validade da página. --> (invalid URL or expired page)

How can I debug the problem?
Thank you

Your server is probably blocking or having issues with cUrl calls.
See if playing with the settings in the Components Anywhere system plugin makes a difference.

Hi Peter,

I’ve already tried all configurations ... none work.
And on the other server they work on default configuration.
Is there a way to debug , or print the calls and result , to view what’s the error message ?

Thanks

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.
You can use the 'Hidden text' button in the forum editor to hide the confidential information.

The sftp doesn't seem to want to connect. It times out.

It looks like your server is having issues with the cUrl call via php.
Maybe something in your .htaccess, but more likely some setting on your server.
Best to ask your host about this.

See if it does work ok if you disable the public restriction (or reproduce the issue on a test site where you can do that).

Hello Peter,

I was able to debug the call, and the error was "Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognized".
There was a problem with the SSL certificate.
We have fixed it and now it works!

If I may suggest, It would be a good feature to be able to see or log the error message when the call fails.

Thanks
Rogerio

Ok, great!

I will look into a logging option...
