Hi,

I use the v4.1.9-pro (it's the same with v4.1.9) to diplay a component in a custom module :
{component index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=topic&id=2}

Nothing is display !

I try to do the same with {component index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=xxx} for the same result.

I have verify if cURL is present and it's ok.

May be, there is an other problem on the server.

Th e page : www.mys-prive.com/index.php?option=com_c...le&id=693&Itemid=717 part "Any question ? we answer it"

If you have an idea ? Thanks a lot

Best regards

P.S.: I made a try whith an iframe to verify the component inside a page.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
You can use the 'Hidden text' button to hide the confidential information.

This is the url Components Anywhere tries to read in:

http://www.mys-prive.com/index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=topic&id=2&tmpl=component&rendercomponent=1&lang=en-GB
This returns the correct response via the browser, but not via curl. It then returns an html document instead of the json encoded response.
This could be due to some weird rule in your .htaccess, or some firewall extension, or something weird on your server.
If you cannot figure it out, please ask your host if they can see why the response via http curl is not the json data it is supposed to be.

So why it's the same problem with an article :

{component index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=395}

The same reason ?

To test all problem, i put different URLs in the custom module "Any question ? we answer it" :
{component index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=myquestions}
{component index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=section&id=1}
{component index.php?option=com_faqbookpro&view=topic&id=2}
{component index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=395}

Probably the same reason. Something is causing the curl call to not respond correctly.
See previous reply.

Thanks a lot for your quick support, as usual.
I try to solve it with my System Master
