I am using Amazon Cloudfront linked to Amazon S3 using private settings. I am getting,

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access Denied</Message><RequestId>2DF512C360ED8C7C</RequestId><HostId>AzeepGO0NqnPWwWMWHhQ7wOa1DlVur+oEbM6gB4EjiOb3a/cUaWNz9Y49v+n5qfIUb5yN6fEGsQ=</HostId></Error>

when I try to access files.

Also, how do I handle paths in the Amazon S3 server. My files are NOT located in the bucket root folder.

CDN for Joomla! is not responsible for how and if your CDN provider working.
For setup issues on the CDN server you will need to ask them for support.

CDN for Joomla! works with Pull Zone services. So services that will pull the files to the CDN server upon request.
CDN for Joomla! does not push files to the CDN server.
See: www.regularlabs.com/extensions/cdnforjoomla/tutorial#pull-zones

If you want to set up CDN for Joomla! with Amazon CloudFront, see:
