Hi Admin

I have been using your CacheCleaner on various website. By browsing with mywebsite.com/index.php?cleancache=mypassword i can clean up the cache in almost all cases.

However in a particular hosting server (newly configured), it flag
0 - Error:0 with message 'Call to undefined function mb_strlen()'

Go back to Home Page no problem.

Moreover if this particular website is in my localhost, no zero error. So i think it has something to with the newly configured server.

Any comments welcome, even none. Thank you.

My extensions do not use mb_strlen. So it is caused by something else.
Make sure everything is uptodate.

So ask your host what is causing this.

Peter i am told that mb_strlen() is a PHP function that is not enabled by default. I will be asking host to enable it to see what happen then.

Host just responded that it is due to 'multibyte not enabled'.

We see the final outcome

Peter
Confirm that the issue is not multibyte but your cleancache do require mb_strlen() php function enabled in host.
I ran chk.php (function_exists) on hosts that is ok & that give 'zero error' and confirm this point.

Again, my extensions do not use mb_strlen anywhere.

You know better but my finding is if server has mb_strlen enabled no zero error so i cant reconcile this discrepancy.

PS: Final finding. Once I set website to PHP v7.2 (from 7.1) the function gets enabled, then no more zero error. This phenomena is reproducible.
