Use a different link than the default article link...

Hi Peter,

I was wondering if it would be possible to use a different field to hold a URL (e.g. the Link A field of an article) and to output that in an articles anywhere generated list instead of the {url} toi the article itself. In the current case, I would like to generate an events list, but would rather link to the conferences than to the article in my Joomla system that I just use to generate the list. Is the Link A field accessible via {} in any way, or do you have another suggestion for me?

Thanks, Paul

You can use the Custom Fields. Just create a field named 'conference-url' or whatever. Then use that field in your Articles Anywhere code:

<a href="[conference-url]">Go to the Conference</a>

OK, I think I was able to answer my own question: {urla} is my friend! 😁

Can be closed...

Thx, Paul
