Hi Peter,

I am using Joomla 3.8.2 with Advanced Template Manager.
For some reason I cant edit the files within Advanced Template Manager.

Has there been a change anywhere or was this never possibel at all?

Are you able to edit the files of Advanced Template Manager is disabled? (Both component and plugin).

Both the plugin and the component are enabled.
It crossed my mind that maybe the plugin is loaded in the wrong position, but I am only guessing here.

My question is: can you edit the files if Advanced Template Manager is disabled?
So when using the core template manager.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Yes, I can edit the files with the core version

All working fine here.
Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.
You can use the 'Hidden text' button in the forum editor to hide the confidential information.

All information is already mentioned above to log in.
It is a test site so no harm can be done.

Can you also give me (s)ftp access so I can take a deeper look?

I have installed ProFiles however I dont seem to be able to get in the right root.
Maybe that is where the problem is.

I have changed the ftp access so you can take a look.

I cannot reproduce the issue on your site.
I have tried editing and saving the index.php file of a number of templates on your website, and they all save just fine.
What issue are you having exactly? Do you get errors? What steps should I take to reproduce the issue?

What happens is the following:
When I open templates in the extension tab in the backend and choose any template to edit a less file or any other file, a file listing is shown.
When I click on any file, the file wont open.

In the core template manager, there are buttons, like 'edit', to select the file and edit the file.
But with the Adv Templ. Mngr there no such buttons and clicking on any file does not show the content of the file.
Just nothing happens at all.

Again, I cannot reproduce this on your site.
Everything seems to work fine.

I recommend you log out, clear you browsers cache and cookie and try again.
Also check on a different browser.

I have checked with a different browser and it works fine.
I will try to clear the cache later.
Thanks for helping, sorry I put you into this trouble.
